How to delete your GymPad account
Method 1: Directly inside the app (Recommended)
Open the GymPad app, navigate to: Settings → Account → Delete Account, and confirm. You may need to authenticate again. Once accepted, the operation starts account and data deletion; a notice that deletion has started does not confirm that every copy has been erased.
Method 2: Email request (If you uninstalled the app)
If you no longer have access to the app or device, submit a request from the email address linked to your account to: matcode.help@gmail.com.
Cancel your subscription separately in the store. Deleting your account or the app does not stop automatic renewal in Google Play or the App Store and is not a refund request. Export any data you want to keep before deleting the account.
An email request does not require reinstalling the app. If you also lost access to your account email, explain the situation; we may ask for minimal information to verify your identity. Do not provide your password or full card details.
Records in Apple Health, Health Connect, on a watch or in exported files may need separate deletion. Contact the trainer or store about data they retain independently. Deletion must also cover administrative backups; these are not intended for ordinary operation of a deleted account. If a backup is restored, the deletion request must be reapplied.
Full details: GymPad Privacy Policy. Contact support if deletion fails or you need confirmation that it has completed.
Data deletion timeline & retention
Request acceptance
The process covers your account, journal, measurements, supplements, trainer profile and related coaching data in GymPad’s active resources. Data is deleted in stages.
Timing and data copies
We handle requests without undue delay; the response to a data rights request is generally due within one month. Complex requests may require two additional months, with notice in the first month. Provider copies follow the separate deletion cycles described in the privacy policy.
Limited retained records
Minimal trial, fraud, purchase-binding, transaction-reuse prevention and erasure-handling records have a planned retention period of five years from account deletion. They may contain a hashed identifier and transaction status, without your workout journal. Tax documents are kept for the statutory period, generally five years from the end of the year of the tax payment deadline; data needed for claims is kept for the applicable limitation period.
